OMG I've got a great freaking new kidney! I feel like a million bucks and my mind is clear and unburden with my future. It's positivly amazing how miraculous the change in health over a period of 24 hours.
Aside from the usual pain of recent surgery my body feels amazing. I looks forward to resuming lost hobbies and being active with my family, espeically my daughter.

GOD BLESS YOU!..I was just reading tour post on being a newbie on PD! ..and clicked on your link and whamo you received a ytansplant!..WONDERFUL...My cadavor transplant just failed after 25 years, now a I 45 and on PD and on the list again....A word of advice, do not waste a day, life is good with a transplant, value it1..Take care,

You are so right, I was thinking last night before bed just how blessed I am to have been provided this second chance. I still marvel at how different life is being free of dialysis. I plan to make the most out of life once I'm fulled healed. I wish you the best with your future transplant! Take care of yourself!
